Who We Are
I am a fully registered member of the General Osteopathic Council. We are also required to maintain our skills through ongoing training and professional development each year of registration.
I am also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, which exists to promote the latest knowledge and promote best practice in osteopathy. They also produce the iO Patient Charter, based on the national quality standards of the Care Quality Commission, which we use to demonstrate our commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
These assurances exist to make sure you can be confident that, as your osteopath, I have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to help you to live healthier lives.
Chenine Bruley, Registered Osteopath B.Sc (Hons) M.Ost
I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost). My first degree was an honours degree in Human Biology from King's College London where my interest in anatomy and physiology and the way the body works and functions grew.
After spending some time working in Fundraising & Marketing for various high profile charities I wanted to get back to my anatomy and physiology roots and osteopathy was a great way to combine my medical knowledge and people skills and I have loved it ever since.
My friendly and conscientious approach to patient care means that every patient is treated as an individual and each treatment is focused to that person. As well as working structurally, I treat using cranial osteopathic techniques, which are particularly effective on children and in the treatment of headaches. My other areas of interest are pregnancy, headaches, postural assessments and older age.
In my spare time I enjoy swimming, cycling, pilates and I am a keen dancer, in modern jive and argentine tango in London and Hertfordshire.
